These are the spiders I saw in Sungei BulohWetland Reserve. They are usually in their web waiting for insects to get trapped. The spiders are – Mangrove St. Andrew cross spider, giant golden orb weaver spider, tent spider, female golden web spider, miniature golden web spider.
As you can see, the cross spider forms cross with its legs. The tent spider hides in its tent-like web tube. Both the giant golden orb weaver and golden web spiders have golden sheen web. The miniature golden web are so tiny that you can hardly see them.
