What is Think Big, Youth Science Ambassador Programme?

• The programme builds on students' Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) skills
• Students will be equipped with STEM skill sets through science communication, design thinking & problem solving 
• Students will analyse real-world, community problems & prototype solutions
• Students will showcase & share their prototypes

• Running of science clubs in their schools
• Organising and running science programmes for disadvantaged and underprivileged groups
• Spearheading community programme overseas to demonstrate and teach science concepts for young children 

Objectives of the programme:

• Increased student's interest and knowledge in a variety of science and mathematics topics
• Enable them to communicate science concepts and to share their passion for science
• develop relevant social skills with an inclusive, welcoming approach
• Build character values such as empathy, responsibility, teamwork and leadership

Programme requirements:

• Students will need to serve at least 50 hours over a period of half a year (Jun- Dec 2020)
• Attend compulsory events and workshops
• Show satisfactory performance throughout the programme
