Marie Curie was a famous physicist and chemist who was known for her research and discoveries of radioactive elements and being the first woman to win a noble prize in chemistry and a noble prize in physics. Marie Curie was first inspired by Wilhelm Roentgen and Henri Becquerel to look into uranium rays as a field of research. Uranium was found to be radioactive through her research. Marie Curie's work on Uranium and Radioactivity had important implications in energy generation.
