Wonderful analogy on why sustainability is needed by Yu Sing as part of the Young Sustainability Champion Programme!

Imagine you love eating chocolate and you have a jar of M&M's. The jar refills every time you take some M&M's. So, the M&M's is sustainable. Wait! What is sustainability and what is sustainable development? Too bad our world is not like the magic jar of M&M's. The earth's resources will run out if we use too much. The Earth's resources like coal, oil, water and rock are not sustainable : (  According to yourdictionary.com website, sustainable development is defined as an approach to developing or growing by using resources in a way that allows for them to renew or continue to exist for others. It simply means you should not use up everything and leave some for the future generations. There are 17 sustainable development goals and everyone can play a part. I pledge to save energy by turning off the lights when I do not need it : )
