Sustainable Development, it is a to make the world a better place to be, without harming and destroying the chances of for the next generations so forth. To know that if something is sustainble, this question can be asked to your own self, can it be repeatedly done, over and over again? Think of it, and you'll know that this action, is it sustainable to help our future generations?
Sustainable Development requires to being keeping 3 things in mind at once when thinking.
- Social Progress
- Economic Development
- Climate and Environment
Let's start off with Climate and Environment. We have many natural resources and many eco-system, that is required to be balanced to allow human beings to be able to live on earth. Climate is one of them, it is to keep the right amount of temperature around different parts of the world.
A wrong action to be done is making harmful green house gases, such as Carbon Dioxide, this is clogging the surroundings of the area, as Carbon Dioxide traps solar energy in them, this will then cause Climate Change, resulting a affection in our development.
How we use our resources are extremely crucial, oil and coal, they are examples of possible items that can be used up too much and then, we'll ran out of them. But, things such as, wind, water, and the sun, these are things that we will never run out of, they are there, they will be there.
We can use many different ways to create energy. Such as creating windmills that are able to take in wind and create energy, that are reusable. This also opens up a lot of job opportunities for people.
Talking about jobs, the next part would be Economic Progress. Much things, including trades of good, etc, are made of natural resources from nature. The more intelligence we use, to use our natural resources, the better we can able to create a fair distribution to everyone and a better sustainable living for everybody.
One thing to be aware of is when we are purchasing a item, we must consider some points.
- How are they made?
- What are the process taken in making the item?
- Are they able to sustain for a long period amount of time?
- Do they help with the 3Rs?
If we all want to have a sustainable future to all, we must go by the book, that the rules, goes to every, single, one, of, us.
Social Progress, us, we, human beings are important sources to nature too, just like the water, the forest and the sun. We have the minds, that are outstandingly inventive, we are enabled to think out of the box.
But to be the best version of us all, we must ponder over a few points that are important to us, to help sustain. Like our basic needs.
- Education Opportunities
- Safety
- Food
- Medicine
These few needs provide human beings a greater opportunity, not only us, but to the earth as well.
All 3 must come together and stay together, this is also known as Sustainable Development.
There is a actual plan for this, all countries in the United Nations, have agreed on a plan on Sustainable Development.
But the ability for it to be executed, we humans, are required to be proactive and assist in the best we can.
